From today's Boston Globe:

BC Hockey Squad Lands Prized Recruits

Jerry York made his first mark on the Boston College hockey program
yesterday when it was announced that two highly sought after players had
signed letters-of-intent to attend BC on scholarship.

Marty Reasoner of Deerfield Academy, considered by some the top prospect
in the country, and Andy Powers, who plays for Dubuque (1A) of the US
Junior Hockey League, will joing the program for the 1995 season.

Reasoner, a 6-foot-1-inch, 185-pound center, was named the No. 1 prospect
in the country in the October issue of Hockey News and this month's Red
Line. Reasoner was a leading scorer on the US National Select 16 and 17
teams.

A native of Honeoye Falls, NY, Reasoner has a style that is likened to
that of a former Eagle - and Boston Bruin - Craig Janney.

Powers, a member of the Globe all-scholastic super team, played the last
two seasons at Arlington High. At 5-11, 187 pounds, Powers can play both
defense and forward. Last winter he had 34 goals and 28 assists in 20
games.
