But the two ratings are close, so the other criteria are looked at. LSSU wins
out on teams under consideration and last 20 for example, so the Lakers get
the nod.
The two teams that are REALLY out of order are Mass-Lowell and LSSU. Lake
Superior comes out clearly ahead when you look at the other criteria. But that
would make an MSU/LSSU first round match-up. Comley said they seeded to avoid
conference teams meeting in the first round, so I am guessing that is how
UML got ahead of the Soo. Small reward for having to travel west, however.
