Well, let's see how the RPICH fared. :-)

The rest do not make it.

Well, guess which rating system *I* will be following next year. :-)

The ONLY teams out of order (1,1,2,2,3,3, etc.) are NU and Lake State.
And that switch does not really matter since, if they were properly ordered,
NU would have the #4W and LSSU would have the #5W. So instead of NU playing
LSSU in East Lansing, MI, LSSU would be playing NU in East Lansing, MI. :-)

Well, considering how much they went by the computer ratings, I guess there
won't be much whining about who on the committee didn't like who.

I'm sure there will be changes in the specific rating system over time,
maybe adding specific weight to the most recent 20 games (ex. multiply by 1.2).

> 20 Brown 32 15-13- 4 .5313 .5039 .4827 .5054

Of course, Colorado College will be the most upset, St. Cloud will come in
second in anger, and Northern Michigan and Clarkson will have slight
disapointment. As always, since only 12 teams make it, I have *never* seen
a team happy to be #13.

And don't think that if we expanded the tourney to 16 teams that the #17 team
every year would not be upset (no, this is NOT a pick on Maine this year).

I believe that if the old system of politics playing a part were still in
place, Colorado College would have made it, but, since the coaches wanted
a computer system in place, CC loses out.

My serious condolences go out to all those fans whose teams came up just short,
and congratulations to the National Champion and 11 losers who have made the
tourney. (11 of the 12 will lose)

Now, let the games begin!
