Because I received a few requests, here is a listing of Michigan and
Michigan State players drafted by the NHL. I didn't have time to look
up the round and position of all of MSUs players, sorry.

I believe that freshman goaltender Al Loges, who just joined the Michigan
team in January, has also been drafted. Note that current Wolverine
defensemen Tim Hogan and Al Sinclair are rated as the #1 and #6 US
collegiate players available for the 1992 draft. Counting Loges, UM has
20 current or future NHL picks on their roster (and maybe more with the
likes of Anton Fiodorov). A special thank you to Keith Instone for his
personal message regarding CCHA draftees.
As for Mike M's definition of "natural hat trick", I've always used the
term to mean three goals scored on an opposing goaltender(s), thus untainted
by an empty net goal. You learn something new everyday (at least I do).
