I wasn't going to do this, but someone else mentioned hockey songs.
Seems that once a year we have a discussion about fun and goofy
hockey songs, and I know there must be more people like me out there
who just can't find them in our local music stores. For those of you
who might be searching for music by the Zambonis, I found a catalog that
sells 2 CDs. They also sell lots of pro and college jerseys, jackets and
junk (and I *do* mean junk!--Hey, I've always wanted a "Baby Gretzky
and Baby Lemieux" mylar framed print.)
The catalog is Hot off the Ice. Call 1-800-4HOT-ICE.
The CDs are:
1) The Zambonis "Playoff Fever" ("features the hit "Here Comes the
Zamboni" plus 6 other songs"). Item #PR1089; cost: $16.
2) "The Zambonis CD" ("features "Shoot--Score, "I Want to Drive the
Zamboni" and others"). Item #PR4514; cost $16.
Hot Off the Ice can also apparently be found at the NHL's website:
www.nhl.com
Enjoy,
Jill.
HOCKEY-L is for discussion of college ice hockey; send information to
[log in to unmask], The College Hockey Information List.
