To clarify, the news reports & interviews I saw definitely suggested that
the after-hours practice was the players' idea, not a form of punishment.
It was clear that the team wasn't playing nearly as well as it could, and
the players are very frustrated.  We'll see if it worked, next weekend.
 
By the way, the 6-1 score is artificially lopsided, with two meaningless
goals at the end of the third period after the Badgers had given up.  It
was more of a "4-1" game.
