It could be the fact that no member of the MAAC has been anywhere near
the top 25, let alone the top 12, in any rating system that adequately
addresses strength of schedule.  (The same does not hold for CHA.
Niagara finished #18 in the KRACH and #16 in the KPWR last season, and
did even better if home ice is taken into account.)
