This morning's USA Today has an article, "Holzinger could give college
game a boost," by Kevin Allen. He says that if BG's Brian Holzinger wins
the Hobey Baker it could help change people's perception that only
player's without a future in the NHL can win the award. His agent, Steve
Bartlett, says people in the NHL are prejudiced about college hockey,
that they think the best way to become an NHL player is to play in junior
hockey. Coach Ron Wilson of the Mighty Ducks refutes that perception.
He thinks a player who gets good coaching in college learns to be a good
hockey player and also is given a chance to mature. The article includes
a list of Hobey Baker award winners and where they are playing now. The
