Good morning colleagues,

Efficiency Maine's electric vehicle program manager reached out to me to share information about a funding opportunity for libraries.

The deadline for Efficiency Maine's Rural Level 2 EV Charging Funding Opportunity Notice (FON) has been extended to January 17, 2023 and incentive amounts have been updated. Projects at local/tribal government-owned properties and public libraries are now eligible for incentives up to $7,000 per networked Level 2 plug, up from $5,000 per plug.
The program is specifically aimed at counties where public EV charging stations are less common which they describe as all counties except Cumberland and York.

You can find more information including slides from an informational webinar and Q&A on this webpage https://www.efficiencymaine.com/evi-fon-001-2023/?inf_contact_key=0a347ae18fd36ba5cd976e579692ab0ab7af0999dac2af6212784c39e05d2aef.

If you have questions let me know. The team at Efficiency Maine is eager to have libraries apply.
