Hello from Wells!

As you may know, our building has been closed to the public since a sprinkler head burst in our director's office back on February 4. Luckily, our collection was not damaged and we've continued to fulfill Minerva loans via van delivery and locally to our patrons via curbside pickup.

That said, the remediation work is beginning to take shape. Starting tomorrow, March 9, our collection will be made temporarily unavailable as our carpets are being replaced. This is likely to take several weeks. We ask that you refrain from sending our materials back to us for the time being since we will be unable to shelve what is returned. We will still be able to process incoming Minerva requests at this time so keep those coming, please! As we go along we will be sure to update here when our situation changes.

Additionally, we will be fully closed on Friday, March 10, due to expected unsafe working conditions as the building is prepared for the work ahead. We plan to be back in the building on Monday, March 13.

Stay tuned, and thank you for your patience and all the well wishes we've received in the last month!
