BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) -- Eric Perrin's goal at 2:47 in overtime lifted
Vermont
to a 3-2 college hockey victory Saturday over Ottawa.
Nicolas Perreault, who assisted Perrin's game-winner, scored Vermont's
two
earlier goals at 12:47 of the first period and 2:44 of the third.
Vermont, 4-5-1, was frustrated all night by Ottawa's goalie Phil Comtois,
who
had 35 saves, including three in overtime.
Ottawa got on the board with Martin Savard's lone goal of the second
period
at :57.
Ottawa, 11-6-3, took the lead with an unassisted shorthanded goal by
Martin
Roy at 2:02 of the third period. But Vermont countered on the same power
play
when Perreault whistled a shot from just inside the blue line.

DURHAM, N.H. (AP) -- Goalie Mike Henke turned away 23 shots to help New
Hampshire come from behind Saturday to overtake Massachusetts-Lowell 3-1 in
college hockey.
Massachusetts-Lowell, 6-3-2 overall and 3-2-1 in Hockey East, opened the
scoring when Kerry Angus banked one in off the crossbar with 41 seconds left
in
the first period.
The scoreless second period was marred by 40 minutes in penalties, most
resulting from a fight in front of the Massachusetts-Lowell goal.
New Hampshire, 10-3 overall and 4-2 league play, stepped up its offense
in
the third period as Deric Flinton got New Hampshire on the board at the 7:50
and
Glenn Stewart slapped in the game winner at 12:31.
Eric Royal finished off the scoring with an empty net goal at 19:48.
