In the final game of the regular season, Bowling Green defeated
Notre Dame in overtime, 4-3.

Bankoske got the Irish on the board early when he scored 34 seconds
into the contest. Williams tied it up 10 minutes later and that is how
the period ended.

The only goal of the second was scored by BG's Glantz on the PP.

UND scored on their PP to start the third and later went up 3-2. Holzinger
knotted it at 3 with 52 seconds left. Helbing won it for the Falcons
just 47 ticks into the extra stanza.

Ellis had about 21 saves for BG; Lothrop played wll for UND, stopping
about 36.

Back on Oct 16th, Holzinger had the first goal of the season (vs Toronto).
His linemate Helbing tallied the last marker of the regular season tonight.

BG will be travelling to Western Michigan for the play-offs. WMU passed
on UAF, sending them to Ferris State. Thus, UAF is seeded 7th.
