Two even-strength goals in the first period gave Mich State a 2-0 lead.
 
Two power play goals by MSU followed by a sh and pp from Kent left a
4-2 MSU lead at the end of 2.
 
Alternate goals by Kent then MSU then Kent then MSU (en) left the final
score 6-4.
