The Ice Griffs dropped a pair in Alabama this weekend, losing 9-2 on Friday and
5-4 on Saturday.  Friday was their first game after a very long semester break,
so I suspect they didn't have their legs yet.  Saturday's game was more even,
with Alabama getting the winning goal with just :39 remaining in the game.  No
other details (the local paper doesn't believe in college hockey box scores).
 
Canisius returns to ECAC action this weekend, with a game Friday at Geneseo,
then a home game Saturday against Fredonia.  Griffs are currently 9-5 on the
season (9-2 in ECAC play).
