Why would this apply to hockey?? Any of the big 10 schools that have a
hockey program are NOT in the big 10! They're in the WCHA or the CCHA.
Would a rule that applies to one conference then weave it's way into another
conference??

What would happen if the WCHA passed a resolution that member schools will be
removed if they follow the resolution of the Big 10?? We know this would never
happen, but how can a rule in one conference affect the play of another?
