Come on, the death penalty because a few players got out of control?
At the most, the players are guilty of assault and if the NCAA wants
to get nasty, they can press charges in New York state court.
 
What are you going to do with teams that commit really serious violations?
Lock the players up in the slammer for two years?  Maybe execute
a few people?  There's not too much more you can do to a program
than to disband it!
 
By your standards, John, Michigan should have been given the death penalty
two years ago when they got in that big fight with MSU!  Weren't you the
one that was complaining so vociferously because the Yost security people
were "control crazy," ejecting people that threw their hat on the ice
after a hat trick?
