In the San Jose area the cable company supplied something called Pacific
Sports Network (PSN).  Most (all?) of the programming carried a Prime
indentification.  They also carried CCHA games via PASS.  The cable co.
also supplied Sports Channel America (SCA) for a fee.
 
Under a new deal where the SF Giants, Oakland As, SJ Sharks and GS Warriors
games are carried on SC, the cable company now carries somthing called
Sports Channel Bay Area (SCBA).  This is free for everything except those
Bay Area professional teams (home and away!) game broadcasts.  In the
process the cable co. dropped PSN.  So we no longer get CCHA (PASS) games
on cable out here.
