I was in Providence Saturday. I thought the ref was terrible. I did not
drive 2 hours to watch a ref. I went down to see 2 EXCITING hockey games.
I think the ref played a part in the Maine-MS game. By calling all those
penalties the ref slowed down the game to a stop, thus making it a very
boring game to watch. He did not let the boys play hockey. To top it off
he called alot of meaningless penalaties that did not have anything to do
with the play. I will give the ref some credit because he did call the game
evenly. He just called EVERYTHING. It didn't give either team a chance to
get started.

I am not blaming Maine's loss because of the ref. I just think he did not
do his job. I thought I was watching a basketball game. 19 penalties is
ridiculus.

Congratulation MSU and good luck!
