St. Lawrence defeated Cornell, 8-1, at Appleton Arena.  

Cornell used 2 goalies.  There were plenty of penalties including one 5 minute major (Cornell) and 2 10 minute misconduct (1 for each).  Cornell took more penalties than SLU.

About 12:50 in the third period, Cornell pulled the goalie. The ref didn't notice and counted the skaters and called too many men.  A face-off was held at center ice.  Cornell pulled the goalie again and SLU scored form the center ice area.
