Zamboni also makes electric resurfacers that are battery powered.  They are becoming more popular as we demand better indoor air here in MN.  They just need to be plugged in after they are done so they can recharge.

Another thing about Olympia is that their blade is a little wider.  They cover more of the ice than a Zamboni does.  I personally think that it doesn't matter which one you use, it is the driver that makes the difference at how the ice comes out.

  There are a couple of smaller rinks around the Twin Cities that use the cord
  but I've seen more Olympia machines that are battery powered. The only
  advantages that I can see are that you have no fuel being used in the arena
  and no concern for recharging or replacing batteries.
