While here in Minnesota working on the Monday Night Football game I found time tonight to take in the Colorado College/Minnesota game at the Mariucci Arena.  

CC just could not keep up with Minnesota.  Minnesota dominated when CC was on the power play, scoring two short-handed goals I remember.  I want to say there was a third short-handed goal but can not confirm that.  CC could not get shots off, having only 7 total deep into the third period.  They did manage a few more late, but just could not compete.  CC went numerous power plays without a single shot.

This was my first time at Mariucci and was impressed with what I saw.  I hope I get the opportunity to take in a few more games before St. Louis.  If not, I will see some of you there at the FF.
