Its the Politics of the awards process. How about Jordan Parise being second
in NCAA for Save Percentage yet doesn't even
get a sniff.

Subject: WCHA awards

In no way am I trying to undercut the skill or the success of Bobby
Goepfert, but I am totally confused as to how he is named first team All-
WCHA, while Brian Elliott is named to the second team. INCH has named
Elliott All-America first team and he is in the final 3 for the Hobey Baker.

This reminds me of 1988-89 when Curtis Joseph was named Top Player in the
WCHA (akin to MVP I suppose), yet Robb Stauber received All-WCHA first team
and Top Goalie accolades.

Am I missing something here? Who votes on these things?
