I guess they missed my house, and I'm terrible about getting behind on
mailing lists that get filtered to separate folders. :)

I joined the list back in January 1993 while I was a student at CC, and I
remember my first post was about the whole Brad Buetow controversy that
popped up shortly after that. The list was great for college hockey info
when you couldn't really find it anywhere else. When I went to France for
a semester in Spring 1994, I subscribed with one of my brother's accounts
(that had about 10 times the quota to handle the 200-300 messages a
weekend :) ) and we had telnet access, so I was still able to keep up with
the second half of the season through the list. I met Charlie Shub at the
CC games, and it was neat to put faces to people on the list the two times
I made "last minute" decisions to go to the finals in Cincinnati in 1996
and Anaheim in 1999 (driving from Colorado both times :) ). I'm living in
St. Louis now, so the only college hockey I get to watch is what I can get
on satellite (I love having DirecTV :) ), but hopefully sometime in the
near future I can go to a tournament again and drag my husband with me for
his first experience. :)
