Why should it matter to anyone who is hosting?  Why is everyone so
concerned?

Nebraska-Omaha says, "let's help put in a bid. OK, what's a good place?
Hmm..How about St. Louis - great facility," etc... So, they get with the
building and local people and put in a bid.

The fact that Alabama-Huntsville then went out and made a bid with Kemper
Arena, is completely irrelevant.  The NCAA doesn't come back and say, "Gee,
uh, UNO and UAH should switch because UNO is closer to Kansas City"  --  it
doesn't work that way, nor should it.   UNO has a much stronger case with
St. Louis behind it than Kansas City -- why should they be saddled with KC?

As for RPI -- well ... just wait for USCHO's updated story...coming today.
