Syracuse hockey merchandises better than most Division-I teams on campus
already. With our CCM hockey apparrell, we are 4th in merchandising on
campus behind football, basketball, and lacrosse, and ahead of every
other varsity sport. Unfortunately, we see none of this money. Our
budget at $3,000 a year is by far the lowest in our league. We raise the
other $27,000 ourselves.
 
As I was told, they think we would take people away from basketball
which is 'higher profile.'
 
We run ourselves like a D-I program, we are getting the support of a D-I
program.
 
As our new slogan goes...."Syracuse's Unofficial Division-I Team"
