If the season ended today, we'd have some pretty interesting matchups.

What could possibly get any better than #3 BC against #6 BU? Its got to fill
the Conte quicker than last year's Prov. series. Season series stands at
1-1.

How about the Minutemen and Markus Helenan travelling up to Alfond as #8
Amherst faces #1 Maine. Could be quite a series. The season series was
1-1-1.

#2 UNH has to host #6 Merrimack who certainly has the fresh taste of playoff
upset victory still on their lips although UNH has certainly handled them
quite easily this season.

Finally, Lowell tries to make an unchallenged 7th straight trip to the
semifinals as they travel to Providence, the scene of their 97 upset as the
#6 seed who defeated the #3 Friars on their home ice.

This weekend will go a long way in making these tenuous matchups more solid.
