The University of Minnesota's road trip to Northern Michigan got off to
a rough start Thursday when the airport at Marquette was closed.  The
Gophers had to share 110-mile cab rides to get to their destination.
 
The latest Gopher signee is Jeff Moen, a goalie from Roseville High School.
Last night, however, his #6-ranked Roseville Raiders lost 4-2 to the #2-ranked
White Bear Lake Bears.  Gopher recruit Brian Bonin had 2 goals for the Bears
and yet another Gopher recruit, Bobby Dustin, had an assist for the Raiders.
(yeah, Bears!)
