yet another triple:  the announcers of the college
world series game today pointed out that 1948 was
southern cal's first cws title, kentucky's first squeakball title, and
michigan's first hockey title.
 
i have this sneaking suspicion that michigan won a football national
championship that year, too.
 
who says history doesn't repeat...
 
it sure would be nice if they'd carry the hockey national championship
