The Devils have been extremely impressed with Morrison, from what I hear.
And they have good reason.  He scored four goals in his first five games up
at the end of the regular season, and had a seven-game point streak through
the second game of the Devils' first-round playoff series (he did not play
in the first).  ESPN reported about a week ago that the Devils are
considering not resigning Doug Gilmour, and bringing up Brendan in his
place...
