The point of the prior post about fahters and sons was that few fathers were
sending their sons into jr hockey but were wisely opting for US colleges (I
don't know of any US players haeading to the great institutions of higher
learning north of the border. Given the comments in the Toronto Globe & Mail
about the state of the Canadian game- one wonders if the chance to get a US
college degree and play D1 hockey is more attractive than having one's brains
battered in Jr hockey.
