Aha, the flaw in your logic. The Buckeye adminstration does not think
hockey is a major sport! I won't get into my Buck-bashing mode (I am getting
good at it now :), but I'll just give you a ranking of OSU coaches'
salaries (from the Columbus Dispatch).

    1. Football
    2. Men's basketball
    3. Women's basketball
      (no surprises yet)
    4. Golf
    5. Wrestling
    6. Men's track
    7. Baseball
(OK, hockey must be coming soon, right?)
    8. Women's swimming
    8. Men's tennis
   10. Women's track
   11. Men's gymnastics
   12. Men's & women's fencing
(you have got to be kidding! Fencing??)
   13. Volleyball
   14. HOCKEY
   14. Women's gymnastics
   16. Synchronized swimming
(Jerry Welsh make $600 more per year than the Synchro-swim coach)

And remember, Jerry has 16 years at OSU. Even with all that seniority, he
doesn't get a decent paycheck, a decent rink, or decent support from his
bosses.

I have to stop now or else I will never quit.
