Since you mention the guy......
 
This weekend BGSU will retire on the second hockey jersey in the history
of the program.  Number 19 worn by both Nelson Emerson and Brain
Holzinger will be retired.  George McPhee was the last alum to have his
jersey retired from active duty.  George won the second Hobey Baker
award, and will be present along with other Falcon hockey alums Friday.
Nelson Emerson was nominated for Hobey Baker three times.
 
And as for all this seeding talk....
 
Frankly a lot of us will be thrilled just to make the NCAAs this year, it
has been awhile!  It would be nice to add another banner to our collection.
