Brown University earned two crucial ECAC points in Friday night's bout with
RPI with a score of 4-1. The Engineers were riding a sweep of Brown in
last year's action, but driving rain/snow and a broken down bus did nothing
to deter Bruno. Scoring for Brown in the first was J. Kersey, S. Humber,
and M. Noble. In the second it was a goal by J. Mooney that would round
out Brown's final goal. Brown netminder Holowatty's bid for a shut out was
ruined by an Engineer goal at 6:36 in the third. Brown faces ECAC rival
Union tomorrow at 7:00pm. In other ECAC action Harvard 2 Union 0 (Harvard
2?); Clarkson 3 Maine 2; St. Larwence 5 Providence 3; Vermont 5 Princeton 3
(?). GO BRUNO!
