1995-96 Information

BU is losing a fine group of seniors who lead the team to the NCAA
Championship
this year. Forwards Jacques Joubert, Steve Thornton, Mike Prendergast, and
Ken
Rausch, defensemen Rich Brennan and Kaj Linna, and goalie Derek Herlofsky
have
all played their last game as a Terrier. To fill their places BU has 6
incoming
freshmen, plus one transfer.

There are four forwards; Brendan Walsh of Dorcester and Catholic Memorial,
who
played for Omaha in the US Junior League this year; Travis Roy of Tabor
Academy
and Portland, Maine; Albie O'Connell of St. Sebastian's and Watertown; and
Scott King of Calgary, Cananda, son of Flames head coach Dave King.

There are two defensemen; Dan Ronan of Belmont Hill School, cousin of former
Terrier and current Montreal Canadien Ed Ronan and Rich Alger of Barnstable,
who transferred from UMass Amherst and will be eligible second semester

There is one goalie; Michael Larocque of New Brunswick, Canada. He will be
joined by J.P. McKersie, who will be returning for his senior year after
being
medically redshirted for the 1994-95 season.

Finally, there has been no official word whether Mike Grier and/or Chris
O'Sullivan will remain for their junior years, or sign professional
contracts.

1995-96 Schedule
