It's ESPN's stated policy to stay with live events until they're
over (as I discovered a few years back when NFL Primetime was cut to a
half hour because some NASCAR race ran late!). That policy is looking a
lot better now, since it means they didn't cut away from
the hockey at the end of regulation to show golf (fans of the PGA senior
tour are probably cursing the Wolverines and Black Bears as I write this)
If ESPN was going to show three periods of the hockey game (so far), I
imagine we'd all prefer that it be 2-4 and not 1-3. (Of course, I'm lucky
since my cable company added the dEuCE at the beginning of March.)

Now, what I want to know is why the tennis ran so late. They
were only in the second set when I tuned in at ten.

PS--If ESPN does have an intternet email address, I'd appreciate
it being posted; I have a few recommendations for them myself. :-)
