Jim Carey, who was a goalie for teh University of Wisconsin last year,
got his second NHL shutout last night when the Washington Capitals beat
the Hartford Whalers 5-1.
 
There were a lot of people at the beginning of the season who said the
Badgers wouldn't go very far without Carey.  I was particularly pleased
to see that they made it to the NCAA tournament because of those
predictions.
