Some Comments:
--------------
With regard to Clarkson's 3 game home ECAC losing streak, snapped Sat. night, we were witnessing a rare event, considering:
o Clarkson last lost 2 straight games in Potsdam: '91-92 vs. SLU and Russian
Nat. B team (so maybe this one doesn't count!)
o In '88-89, Clarkson lost 2 straight home games to Div III Elmira and then to
Cornell, but these games were weeks apart.
o In '87-88, Clarkson dropped a weekend pair to Lowell and Merrimack, and then
lost 2 weeks later to Cornell at home, making it 3 straight home losses.
o In '84-85, Clarkson lost a weekend pair to RPI and Vermont. This was the
last time they dropped both of a home ECAC weekend.
o In '73-74, the Golden Knights lost 4 straight home games to Toronto, Harvard,
BU and Colgate, but none of these games were consecutive (over the course of
    11 games.)
o In '59-60, they lost 4 straight home games (which were also consecutive
games) to RPI, BC, BU and Queens(?). Before the last 2 weekends, this was
the last time they had lost 3 straight games, all at home. I don't know the
history of the ECAC well enough to state that these were not ECAC games, but
my guess is that this is the first time Clarkson has ever lost 3 ECAC home
    games in a row.

Now, onto Cornell-Colgate, who started this mess by beating Clarkson in the first place. These two teams have had surprising success in recent years in Potsdam.
Since '85-86:
     Cornell is 5-3-4 in Potsdam.
     Colgate is 3-7-2 in Potsdam.
Combined - 8-10-6, not the travel partners Clarkson most likes to host!
