Well, I've finally Met the Machniks! Hope y'all had fun at the Invitational!
Unfortunately, I haven't read Hockey-l in over 2 weeks, so I missed out on
where the other subscribers were sitting. Thanks also to Brian Morris for
introducing me...
In future games, my seat is sec. 15, rows j and K seat 1, but I'm often
elsewhere in that sections first two rows. I normally wear red (or sometimes
as in the invit. I wear the ash gray Hockey-L shirt) but my most defining
characteristics are that I'm 6'3" tall with light hair, thin, glasses and I'm
one of those obnoxious hornblowers, often sounding REAL BAD in the process...
:)
Anyway, RPI played "OK" in the games. Had Tamburro stuck with his average .900
save percent against maine, the game would have been close and gone either way.
I had predicted a 4-3 RPI win. That was the score a couple of minutes into the
second period!!!

The refs had a big problem in seeing holding penalties- I saw several instances
of players, mostly from maine, holding onto shirts etc, and bringing down RPI
players in situations other than normal contact/checking...
Anyway- on to jerseys:
The current jersey style was adopted in the 1989-90 season (Buddy Power's first)
. I bought an "away" dark jersey with the diagonal ornate letters on it my
freshman year (1987-88), still during the Addesa era.
Ralph: Where can you get a BULLET jersey?!!?
Well, I'll be back...
