Must have been a different GLI. :-)
Michigan hasn't lost in the GLI since 1987.  Last season, Michigan
defeated Michigan State, 4-2.  The game wasn't as close as the
score.  Mike Buzak was huge in the Spartan net and MSU's goals
came in the third period.
 
Michigan State thumped Michigan at JLA later in the season in a
CCHA game, 5-1, which obviously didn't go to OT.
