This was in Scud Hartman's column last Friday and in the Minnesota Daily Monday
(although they didn't put that day's paper on line, so I couldn't post it.)  If
I recall correctly he got $115K signing bonus and will make $200K/yr if he makes
the team (and the NHL isn't on strike!), $60K if he's in the minors.  He had
7-10-17 in 18 games in his ill-fated senior season for the Gophers, having
broken his arm in the second game of the season and again at the end of the
season.  We sure would have liked to have his size (6-3, 225) on our side in the
playoffs.
