CCHA PLAYER-OF-THE-WEEK: Lake Superior State University senior left wing Tim
Breslin has been named CCHA Player-of-the-Week for February 8-9.
Breslin, a 6-0, 175 lb. native of Addison, Illinois, had 10 points (4G, 6A) in
a weekend sweep of Ohio State. In Friday's 8-3 Laker win, Breslin scored two
goals (one on the power play) and assisted on Jim Dowd's goal that made it
5-3. Breslin added two goals and five assists in Saturday's 11-2 LSSU victory.
He assisted on three of the Lakers first four goals, and had one goal in the
first period and tallied a shorthanded lamp-lighter in the second period.
This is the second time in his career Breslin has been named CCHA P-O-T-W.
