Following is a summary of some of the ECAC games played Friday night.

BROWN 3, Cornell 0 !! (I have no details, but I'm sure that Bill Fenwick
    does, much to his chagrin.)

Harvard 6, RPI 3
RPI jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals by Woolford
and DeCosty. Drury of Harvard scored on the pp to end the scoring
inthe first. DeCosty's pp goal in the second period was the only goal
of that period. Harvard scored 5 goals in the third period,
including 2 empty net goals to win. Vukonich got the last three
goals with the game winner coming at 9:47.

Colgate 6, YALE 3
Colgate scored on two of its first three shots to knock Yale goalie
Baker out of the game. (Where was LeTourneau? He played real well
the week before against Clarkson.) Five goals were scored in the
second period. Woodcroft of Colgate scored twice.

CLARKSON 7, Army 1
Early in the third period with Clarkson up 7-0, it was announced that
Brown was beating Cornell 1-0. A "Go Brown Go" cheer went up from the
Pep Band and the Walker Fans. This cheer was repeated later in the
third period when the same score was announced. I guess they heard
	it.

The game was delayed ten minutes and started with two linesman and
no referee. I guess he couldn't get through the 15 inches of snow
the North Country has gotten during the past 2 days. However,
linesman Tom Caruso from nearby Norwood (10 mi. north) made it with
7 minutes left in the first period to act as ref. At first I
thought that they were trying a new system, two linesman, either of
whom could call penalties, at the request of this List. The two
linesman did a fine job on thier own and Caruso eased their jobs and
called a good game. Credit should be given to Army for not getting
scrappy after being down by so much.

To make things easier, I'm going to start with Army's goal. It came
with 46 seconds left in the game and spoiled Currie's second shut-out
bid. Brenner put a wrist shot past Currie as he came in on the left
wing. Currie had to make some good saves earlier in the period to
maintain what he thought to be his shut-out.

Sylvain Lapointe started the scoring for Clarkson @ 4:03 on a drive
from the left point that beat a screened Hayes. 18 seconds later
Trombley redirected a d'Orsonnens blast from the same point over a
sprawling Hayes. Hayes was upset. The Army players did a fine job
of getting the puck back to the Clarkson defensemen at the point in
the first and second periods. They got a little sloppy in the
	third.

In the second period it took Scott Thomas 5:14 to pick up a natural
hat trick. For his first goal, Thomas had a redirect of a Cassleman
shot blocked. However he stayed put and slammed the rebound in.
Conroy stole the puck at center ice to set up the next goal.
Casselman made a nice crossing pass to Thomas who was charging in
unhindered on the right to easily slip the puck past Hayes. Conroy
and Sanderson set up Thomas for his thirs goal, which came on the
pp. It was Clarkson's first shot on the pp. They had a lot of nice
puck movement and just waited for a hole to open up. The final two
Clarkson goals were scored by Trombley and Sabo at 9:01 and 9:55
respectively. Clarkson had 19 shots on goal in this period. Army
had 5, mostly shots upon crossing the blue line. Currie ended up
with 24 saves while Hayes had 26 in his two periods and Pearson had
13 in his period of relief. That's 46 shots on goal for Clarkson,
	they had 50 against Dartmouth.

It was good to see Clarkson not let up after the first two quick
goals and let Army back into the game. It was good to see some
killer instinct. It will be needed in the play-offs and the
	NCAA's.

SLU 5, Princeton 4
SLU went ahead 4-0 @ 5:41 in the second period on a short-handed
goal by Carvel, only to see Princeton come back and score 4 of the
next 5 goals. Verbeek had scored for SLU in the first period.
Pritchard and Meany had the second and third goals in the second
period. Salsbury left the Princeton net after SLU's fourth goal.
Kampersal and Stewart scored for Princeton to make it 4-2
after two periods. M. Lappin of SLU got the game winner @ 4:47 of
the third period. McKee scored for Princeton @ 7:03 on the pp.
They got closer when LaFerriere scored at 17:03. Princeton kept on
pressing but weren't able to tie it up. High was only able to be
pulled for another skater witgh less than a minute to play.
Princeton was never able to effectively enter the SLU zone and
pressure Kuntar. Kuntar had 26 saves while Salsbury had 12 and High
	19.
