Just a few things to add to the excellent
summary by Richard Hungerford on the
Harvard-UNB game.
- Harvard has a "very large" freshman named
Evan (?) Philpott who fans at other arenas
are going to love to hate. He was roaming
around all night looking for opponents to
crush. He might even be a fast skater, 'cause
he put on a few bursts of speed, but mostly
just ambled about.
- Harvard's captain Mcann played an excellent
game - he looked like Ray Bourque out there.
Does anyone know which team, if any, has drafted
him?
- Harvard has a more physical team than in
years gone by, but still have a lot of speed.
They do need some playmakers and scorers though.
- Tripp Tracy has a fancy new helmet (at least I
think it's new). It's airbrushed just like the
pro's helmets. Do any other goalies in college
have the "painted warrior" look this year?
- UNB should get new logos for their uniforms
(just a crest that says UNB Varsity Reds), they're
almost as bad as RPI's logo :-)
