What a great game to be on national TV. Michigan got out to an early
2-0 lead, but BG quickly tied it at 2. It was 3-3 after 1. But the
teams started to play some defense and no one scored in the second.
Michigan's penalty killers were great in that period. UM went up by 1,
but BG came back with a pair of Brian Holzinger goals to take the lead.
Brian's third goal of the game made it 5-4 with 5 minutes to go. But
the Blue pulled their goalie and tied it up with 40 seconds in
regulation. BG had the best chances in OT, but could not win it. Steve
Shields was great at times in net for Michigan, but he fell asleep a
few times and almost scored on himself, too. Bob Petrie made some good
saves for BG, but often he was hung out to dry.

Did my hat make it on TV? (^;
