This was a tough opener for both teams and the first period reflected
the opening game flow.  It wasn't until the second period that both
teams seem to look more polished.
 
NMU has a couple of big freshmen who should make a contribution to their
defense.
 
It sure was fun to be back at Lakeview Arena with a full house excited
about the new season.  Game 2 will be played this evening.
