The Michigan Tech Huskies won the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame exhibition game
in the new Mariucci Arena, beating the Minnesota Golden Gophers 5-4.  The
Gophers started the third period with a 4-2 lead, but were unable to make it
hold up.   Tech goalie Jamie Ram, who came in midway through the second
period, lived up to his preseason publicity holding the Gophers scoreless in
the third.
 
The Gophers start the WCHA season next weekend in Colorado College.
