Princeton defeated Cornell by the score of 4-3, in overtime, thus earning
a split of the season series with the Big Red, and ending a nine-game winless
streak in the process.

Cornell controlled almost the entire game, their penalty killing unit was
especially effective. Princeton did not score until late in the second,
and trailed the Big Red by a 3-1 count with just over two minutes left
in regulation. The Tigers then scored two quick goals to knot the game and
bring the near-capacity crowd to it's feet.

In overtime, the teams were even until Hannah of Cornell was whistled
for tripping . On the subsequent power play, freshman J.P. O'Connor
took a feed from classmate Jason Smith and put it past a diving Skazyk
for the game winning goal.
