      There is some mention of the rule you're talking about in the same issue
of The HOckey News I mentioned in my last posting.the article concerns Bemidji
State and Mankato St. Of that rule it says this.
    " According to a list of proposals recently released, the NCAA's Membership
STructure Committe has recommended all schools must have uniform division status
In other words, all sports must compete on the same conference level, be it
Division I, II, or II."
     Barring the use of any "Grandfather" type rule. Yes Mike we would be boned.
I know RPI and St. Lawrence would also be in similar situation. You gotta
wonder what they're thinking...........
