Sean Pickett has a more complete analysis, but my opinion is (I'm neither
fan nor hater of BU) that the glass is either half full or half empty. On
the half full side, I think that they've played much better than their
record. I watched the loss to Harvard on TV, and they very easily could
have won that game. And Jack Parker's after game comments have been pretty
consistently satisfied with the effort, but disappointed with the result.
He's usually pretty objective. I think that the loss of Ricky DiPietro was
more than just the loss of a talented goal-stopper; his playing style is
unique and can change the way the skaters play. So there his loss mean some
major adjustments, especially for the D.

The half empy view is that Maine got hammered by BC 7-2 last night, so the
Maine team BU beat may have been in a funk.

p.s. Arthur, sorry for the duplicate messages.
