The official party line from Clarkson-
 
<<Willie Mitchell has departed Clarkson University after his
sophomore campaign and recently signed a professional contract
with the New Jersey Devils' organization. He is expected to play for
the Devils'  American Hockey League team in Albany for 10 games
this spring. Mitchell's first game with the River Rats is scheduled for
this Wednesday. Albany also plays in Syracuse on Friday. >>
 
Seeing Lou Lamoriello at Lake Placid during the ECACs should have been a bad
sign.  Thank, Willie, for two great years.
